Kristin Haugen’s exemplary lawyering skills and knowledge have been recognized by her peers. Kristin was recognized as a Minnesota Super Lawyers Rising Star in 2011. National recognition came as she was appointed co-chair of the Trademarks Subcommittee of the American Bar Association (ABA) Litigation Section. Additionally, her natural leadership style resulted in the ABA Law Practice Management (LPM) Section’s selection of Kristin as a Law Practice Management fellow. Within the LPM Section, Kristin served many roles including Vice Chair of the Law Practice Magazine Editorial Board, Steering Committee Advisor for Women Rainmakers, and a member of the Content Community Committee.
Kristin has also served on the Board of Minnesota Women Lawyers (MWL), headed up a significant task force, and has co-chaired committees for MWL. She has been active with Minnesota State Bar Association committees as well. Additionally, Kristin served as treasurer and, later, President of the Twin Cities Committee on Diversity in Large Law Firms and as a Director of the Ivy Plus Network and co-chair of the Professional Networking Committee. Kristin has also served on the Board of Directors of the Cornell Club of Minnesota and coordinated the Cornell Federation Speaker Event.
