Through many years of business litigation practice, Kristin Haugen has honed her instincts and her skill set. Every case is different, but Kristin has successfully worked with many clients to avoid or minimize their liability (or to maximize their recovery) in these types of cases.
For example, Kristin helped an employer fend off a wrongful case of gender discrimination. The Federal District Court ruled in favor of the employer. The decision was upheld by the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court subsequently denied the employee’s petition for writ of certiorari. Many cases are resolved more quickly and easily, but complicated or straight-forward, Kristin will help her clients through to the end.
